The EU Commission has chosen Funka to be part of a consortium that will study levels of accessibility in 2012 in telecom, IT-systems, television, web and other communication forms. Funka focuses on web accessibility.

The study is part of the MeAC III study (Monitoring eAccessibility in Europe) and is being conducted in cooperation with Empirica in Bonn, Germany, the Work Research Institute in Dublin, Ireland and Technosite from Spain. The study includes EU member states, the United States, Canada, Australia and Norway.
