That external websites and intranets should be accessible and user-friendly is almost a given. But what about other computer-based systems that are common in companies, such as business systems, project management and time reporting tools?

Studies by Funka show they often are poor in accessibility. Some of Funka’s recommendations for improvement include:

• Users should be able to use both the mouse and the keyboard to navigate
• Users should be able to choose font, font size, font color and background color
• Content should be easily understandable
